Tolu Jean-Jules is a Registered Nurse with a passion for wellness and sustainability. She wanted to start an information based website to raise awareness about life with and beyond diabetes for young adults; and providing sustainable + achievable lifestyle practices that could benefit our overall wellness and the planet.
Tolu was put through our business plan development program to help her identify her specific niche, service offerings, target audience, market research, and marketing strategies. We were able to successfully complete the business plan development program within 30 days of 12 rounds of 1 hour sessions.
From there, we began developing her brand’s logo using the detailed questionnaire she completed to give us an idea of what she was looking for. We provided Tolu with 3 logo concepts, and she loved one of the logos. After one round of edit, and upon her approval, we were able to finalize the logo and develop a brand guide with her brand colors and fonts.
After finalizing the logo, the website development process commenced. We set up a one-hour strategy call with Tolu to discuss the website layout and feel she wanted to achieve. Tolu was given access to a shared google drive in which she was to provide us with her website content. After 2 rounds of revisions, Tolu was satisfied for us to move forward with optimizing her website desktop and mobile versions. We also used keywords for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve her google ranking and increase the chances of her being discovered by her potential subscribers.
Whilst finalizing Tolu’s website, we created a landing page on the website. This helped Tolu get ready for her launch date, as she was able to provide potential clients some insight into what they should look forward to on her website. This information helped viewers decide on subscribing for updates.
Simultaneously, our social media team started working on creating Tolu’s social media accounts, as well as formulating her email address, so that she could begin capturing her potential followers, and developing her email marketing plans.
Once we completed setting up her social media account, and developing her first email marketing campaign, Tolu was ready to announce to the world on her launch date that they now have access to the website and her blogs.
Tolu successfully launched her website and first blog on January 20th 2021. And within the 1st week of her launch, she was able to obtain 1000+ Subscribers on her website.
